Recent Updates and Release Notes

What's new

• 27 new holiday images, nine each for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, from glowing jack-o'-lanterns to snowy Christmas villages
• Holiday countdowns: turn one on and your homepage shows a different holiday image each day leading up to the holiday. Halloween runs October 23–31, Thanksgiving the nine days up to Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas December 16–25. Your pinned image comes back afterwards
• Holiday images stay out of the everyday rotation, so you'll never see Christmas in March
• The Homepage Images gallery now lists its categories A to Z, and searching for a holiday brings up its images and countdown

Enjoy the season! — Justin

What's fixed

• Weather for your current location is now accurate. If you allowed the site to use your location, the weather could show sample temperatures instead of your real weather, and a forecast for the wrong city. It now shows the actual weather where you are
• Celsius now works everywhere: the 5-day forecast shows Celsius if you've chosen it, and picking a new city no longer switches you back to Fahrenheit
• The weather window now fits properly on phones

What's new

• The 5-day forecast now shows all five days side by side, so it fits on smaller screens
• Sunrise and sunset times for each day of the forecast
