Make Classic your homepage, the easy way

Chrome on Windows, Mac or Chromebook

1. Click the three dots ⋮ in the top-right corner of Chrome, then click Settings.
2. On the left side, click On startup. No list on the left? Click the ☰ icon at the top-left of the Settings page first.
3. Choose Open a specific page or set of pages.
4. Click Add a new page, paste the address into the box, and click Add.
5. Close the Settings tab. That's it!

Optional: make the Home button open Classic too

1. In Settings, click Appearance on the left.
2. Turn on Show home button, click in the box below it, and paste the address.

Microsoft Edge

1. Click the three dots … in the top-right corner of Edge, then click Settings.
2. On the left side, click Start, home, and new tabs. No list on the left? Click the ☰ icon at the top-left of the Settings page first.
3. Under When Edge starts, choose Open these pages.
4. Click Add a new page, paste the address into the box, and click Add.
5. Close the Settings tab. That's it!

Optional: make the Home button open Classic too

1. On the same Settings page, find Home button and turn on Show home button on the toolbar.
2. Choose Enter URL, paste the address, and click Save.

Firefox

1. Click the menu button ☰ (three lines) in the top-right corner of Firefox, then click Settings.
2. On the left side, click Home.
3. Next to Homepage and new windows, click the drop-down menu and choose Custom URLs…
4. Paste the address into the box that appears. Firefox saves it for you.
5. Close the Settings tab. The Home button (the little house) now opens Classic too.

Does Firefox still reopen your old tabs when it starts? In Settings, click General on the left and uncheck Open previous windows and tabs.

Safari on a Mac

1. Click Safari in the menu bar at the very top-left of your screen, then click Settings…On older Macs it's called Preferences…
2. Click General at the top of the window.
3. Click in the Homepage box, delete what's there, paste the address, and press Return.
4. If Safari asks whether you want to change your homepage, click Change Homepage.
5. Set New windows open with to Homepage. You can do the same for New tabs open with if you like.
6. Close the Settings window. That's it!

iPhone and iPad

Safari on iPhone and iPad doesn't have a homepage setting. The easy way instead is to put a Classic icon on your Home Screen, right next to your apps.

1. Open Safari and go to classic.besthomepageever.com.
2. Tap the Share button: a square with an arrow pointing up. Don't see it? Tap the three dots ••• first, then Share.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add.
5. From now on, tap the Classic icon on your Home Screen to open your homepage.

Android phones and tablets (Chrome)

1. Open Chrome, tap the three dots ⋮ in the top-right corner, then tap Settings.
2. Tap Homepage. Don't see Homepage? Use "Or add an icon" below instead.
3. Turn it On, then tap Enter custom web address.
4. Paste or type the address. The Home button (the little house) now opens Classic.

Or add an icon to your Home screen

1. In Chrome, go to classic.besthomepageever.com.
2. Tap the three dots ⋮, then Add to Home screen.
3. Tap Add (it may say Install or Create shortcut instead).
